HR and payroll in one place, set up by the people who run it
Most growing businesses keep HR in folders and spreadsheets, and payroll somewhere else entirely. The same information gets typed twice and nobody is quite sure which version is right. Employment Hero puts both in one system. We supply it, we set it up, and we are the people you ring about it afterwards.
What it looks like without one
None of this is anybody’s fault. It is what happens when a business grows faster than the admin behind it.
- Contracts and policies live on somebody’s drive, and nobody is certain which version is current
- Leave is a spreadsheet, so answering “how much have I got left” takes a day and a half
- New starters are onboarded by email, and something always gets missed
- Payroll finds out about a change late, or twice, or not at all
- When somebody asks a difficult employment question, there is nobody obvious to ask
What you get
Three things, and they only work properly together.
The platform
Employment Hero handles HR admin, leave, onboarding and offboarding, contracts and documents, performance and reporting. Your staff get an app for their own leave, details and payslips, which stops most of the questions reaching you at all.
Payroll on the same system
Every payroll we run sits on Employment Hero. That means a change entered once is a change everywhere: no re-keying into payroll, no spreadsheet of amendments, and no arguments about which figure was right.
Someone to ring
We configure it around how your business actually works, and the person who sets it up is the person who runs your payroll afterwards. You are not handed to a support queue once the sale is done.
Three plans, priced per employee
Pick the core plan that fits, then add only what you need. If we already run your payroll, the payroll side of Employment Hero is included in your per payslip fee, and these plans add the HR side on top of it. Tell us your headcount and how you work, and we will quote you properly rather than sell you the top one.

Add ons sit on top of any plan: employment law advisory, an employee assistance programme, and learning content. The advisory is the one most businesses of this size actually need, and it is worth a section of its own.
The add on worth having
Employment law advice, without a retainer with a solicitor
Most businesses of this size have no HR function and no employment lawyer, so the difficult questions get answered by whoever sounds most confident in the room. The advisory add on gives you specialist employment law advisers on the phone or by email, weekdays, as often as you need them.
Unlimited advice
Clear answers from consultants who do this all day, in plain English rather than legal language. Phone or email, weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
Documents that hold up
- Employment contract templates for every job type
- Disciplinary and misconduct guides and letters
- Redundancy guides, invitations and termination letters
- Leave policies, processes and forms
If it goes wrong
Representation through the entire ACAS early conciliation process, covering unfair dismissal, discrimination, bullying and harassment, and redundancy disputes.
There is also a compliance health check: a review of the HR documents you already have, advice on what the law requires of you, and a nudge when the rules change. With the Employment Rights Act 2025 reforms phasing in through 2026 and into 2027, that last part stops being optional.
Why buy it through us
You could buy Employment Hero direct. Plenty of people do, and then spend six months configuring it around a business the vendor has never seen.
- We are an authorised Employment Hero partner, so this is our system, not a sideline
- The person who configures it is the person who runs your payroll afterwards
- We set it up around how your business actually works, rather than handing you a login
- One number to ring for the platform and the payroll, which is usually the whole point
Tell us what you are running now
Headcount, how you pay them, and where HR currently lives. We will tell you which plan fits, what it costs, and what moving would involve. If a spreadsheet is genuinely fine for now, we will say that too.
