A Geneva based charity have engaged with LitE Consulting as its HRIS implementation partner to assist with its HRIS project that commenced in 2019. The project is to replace its existing HRIS solution as it does not provide the required functionality. The organisation is keen to enhance its use of digital systems and with the current working from home and lockdown situation across Europe they are keen to expedite this to enable remote working and ensure collaboration across the business.
The organisation is based in Geneva in Switzerland and currently employees 110 employees, most of the staff are office or home-based employees. The goal is to implement a digitalised environment to improve processes and connectivity of solutions. The organisation is also going through an upgrade of sharepoint online and implementation of Office 365.
The HRIS Implementation project commenced in early May and will initially focus on the selection and procurement of a new solution. We will undertake as review of the market based on the requirements specification and will shortlist 3 potential vendors to demonstrate to the clients. The selection process will be condensed by this approach and the target date for selecting a new HRIS system is the 30th June 2020.
We plan to implement the solution in two phases with phase one of the project taking place between July and September. This phase will concentrate on setting up the core HR application with the client’s current data, employee self service and manager self service. This phase of the project will include setting up single sign on and active directory. Synchronisation and creating an interface between an accounting system and the HR system, as this is used to provision an employee cost code on starting with MMV.
This phase of the project will involve implementing learning and development. Additional modules such as talent management along with further integration with MMV’s other business systems. This will result in an integrated digital solution that will grow with the organisation.
