HRIS Systems Implementation
LitE consultancy is providing Selecthr consultancy support as part of the overall project team. The solution selected was Selecthr and Selectpay provided by the Access Group as the new solution by the Hospital. The hospital took the decision to invest in external resources to work on the project alongside the internal teams. This approach has resulted in the project running alongside the daily activities. The project is to replace a legacy system with newer technology that can provide self service functionality to its users. Hence the objectives are to reduce the number of paper based processes through the use of workflows and automated approvals. Also to have a single database of people data that provides accurate and on demand information about employees.
Selecthr Consultancy Phase 1
Initially the project involved rolling out core HR, and self service functionality. Self service will provide the teams within the hospital to book absence and will remove the paper based system. The roll out will include all employees from office based employees to operational nursing staff. The project required an investment in Mobile devices to enable staff to access the system within their work areas. Furthermore we ran a series of training workshops for all management staff and briefings for employees to ensure that the functionality is understood and adopted.
SELECTHR CONSULTANCY PHASE 2
In addition to the earlier functionality this phase will deliver Recruitment and online recruitment which will improve efficiency immediately. Finally the training and performance and development modules will complete the implementation. This phase will take place between July and December 2016. As a result of the features will provide the hospital with efficiency gains and cost savings with the adoption of workflow automation.
